This post is all about the many birds that we spotted in Maasai Mara in between the hustle and bustle of searching for and spotting the Big 5. The White-browed Coucal perched on a bush getting itself warmed in the early morning sun was a lovely composition. The Wooly-necked Stork walking across the road made a cool picture as well.

The Lapped-faced Vulture catching the glimpse of the early morning sun and the Red-throated Pipit sun-bathing are all spotting that can easily be missed while on the chase for the Big 5.

The Grey-headed Kingfisher and the Red-necked Spurfowl also gave us an opportunity to photograph them on this trip to Maasai Mara.
