In an earlier post on the Desert Foxes found in Little Rann of Kutch, we narrated our experience of how we kept looking for this shy animal. In this photo essay, we showcase the many expressions of one friendly Desert Fox that allowed us to get as close as 10-15 feet of him. The feature image (above) is his expression when he checks us out without lifting his head. The expression below is one that we captured after he had completed preening himself.
This picture was taken (above) when he got up to shift his seating position and the expression below is when he looks at an approaching vehicle.
When he yawned we got to see his razor sharp teeth and pink mouth. And in the last image below, we catch him staring at us intently – maybe just wondering who we are and what were we doing so close to him!
