Maasai Mara always has something exciting to offer, if you keep looking – and “keep looking” is what we did after we left the Cheetah brothers and moved on. However it is always Emanuel, our driver and naturalist who gets the spotting done. This time around he spotted a lone Lioness in the distance and we headed to get a closer view. To our amazement, it happened to be three Lionesses who were on the lookout for prey.

We took a few pictures and moved on only to be stopped in our tracks, not far away by a pair of nomadic African Lions. The nomadic Lions were just strolling along when we caught up with them. We took the opportunity to get some portraits of them in the African Savannah.
