After the amazing sighting of Black Rhinoceros, we headed back to the Serena Lodge, content that we had seen the Big 5. On our way back, we spotted this small pride of sleeping African Lions. All in all, it was a fantastic morning drive!

The evening game drive started with the sighting of yet another Lion, posing beautifully from behind a rock. We made that the feature image of this post. And a little further up, we captured this Lioness sitting alone and gazing into the African Savannah. It was clear that she was scanning the horizon for potential prey. Soon she locked on to something.

It was a herd of Wildebeest grazing along the way and headed in the direction of the Lioness. She got up and walked towards them. And we got excited at the prospect of witnessing a hunt! More to come soon.
