We ended part 1 of this series with portraits of the Lioness that had come by and settled down a little closer to our vehicle. No sooner had she settled down, the lone male cub in the pride sitting a short distance from her, gathered enough courage to come to the waterhole by the side of the safari track. He sat down by the waterhole and quenched his thirst.
The Lion cub drinking water at the waterhole was beautiful sight. Added to this, his reflection in the water was an opportunity that we lapped up and here are a series of images from both the wide angle and closeup compositions.
