In the first edition of ‘The Yala Leopardess & her cubs’ we had spotted the mother with her cubs and the fading light had given us the opportunity to get some partial silhouettes. In the 2nd edition, we spotted the cubs just before sunrise and enjoyed photographing them playing with each other.

In this edition, we saw the Leopard cubs outside the range of the 600mm focal length, on a huge rock, just as the sun was rising. The cubs were enjoying the cool morning on the rock before the sunlight warmed up the mountains, giving us another opportunity to get portraits of a Leopard on a rock.
