Here’s wishing all our friends and followers a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year 2016. Thank you for your continued support and patronage of Walk the Wilderness.
As we usher in 2016, we wanted to make a post to relive the amazing and memorable wildlife experiences of 2015. Here is a collection of the Best of 2015 – wildlife experiences that we had. They are in no particular order. On the first safari of our recent trip to Masai Mara we hit the jackpot of wildlife sightings, which we are still capturing in posts that would run through 2016. However the sighting of Cheetah brothers (above) was the one of the best sightings of Cheetah that we had till date and therefore makes it to the Best of 2015 list. The sighting of the curious Rhinoceros with its precious horn decorated with leaves was yet another fantastic experience that made our visit to Kaziranga National Park worthwhile.
The handsome Leopard that crossed the game road, which we froze in its tracks was one of the best Leopard photographs that we took in 2015. The friendly Monitor Lizard that boldly kept walking towards our Jeep in Bandipur National Park was yet another amazing sighting.
The Desert fox that allowed us to get very close in Wild Ass Sanctuary in Little Rann of Kutch was an awesome sighting. It was so friendly that it stayed long enough for us to capture its many moods and expressions. And finally the Royal Bengal Tiger that gave us the best Tiger sighting of 2015 would surely rank at the top of this Best of 2015 list.
