We have experienced time and time again that the best wildlife moments are when the subject is engrossed in action. Wildlife action can be anything from the subject being in middle of a hunt, courtship, mating, feeding or it could be as simple as quenching its thirst as is the case in this post.





When we sighted this Oriental Honey Buzzard (OHB) on the ground near a waterhole in Bandipur national park, we instinctively knew that it is either in the middle of a hunt or going for drink and you will notice from the series of images that it was the latter. Another interesting aspect that we wanted to highlight was that how well this juvenile OHB is
camouflaged, whether it is on the forest floor or in the trees.
