Black Kite is a medium sized raptor and a widespread resident of India commonly found in the Indian cities. You will find lots of images, online, of this beautiful raptor perched on almost all kinds of man made structure but very few on natural perches and even fewer on the ground. Here’s a series put together from recent images taken of this raptor during one of our morning bird watching trips. Please note that each image is of a different subject of this species.
