In the Mara Triangle, there is a small herd of Black Rhinoceros that can be sighted every few days; if you look hard for them. That is exactly what we did and were lucky to spot a few of them on this morning game drive in Maasai Mara.

We also spotted this Topi covered in mud. It made a beautiful picture and we caught it in a close portrait composition. The primary focus of tourists visiting Maasai Mara is to target the Big 5. However if you also pay attention to the birds you might just get lucky. And that is exactly what happened to us when we spotted a Yellow-throated Longclaw foraging in the grass nearby the road.
