I had setup my camera equipment on the balcony of one of the suites of Coorg Wilderness Resort and clicked these lovely beauties as they paid me a visit, all in the matter of thirty minutes.
The resident Scarlet Minivet couple paid me their morning visit and I snapped them in quick succession, before they headed off into the Coorg Wilderness.
In almost all the pictures, you will notice that the bird is directly looking at me and seemed carefree about my presence. This is the advantage of shooting from the balcony of the Suite with a 600mm f/4. The birds are just at the right distance where they go about their daily routine and also give you the cursory glance, every now and then.
The Reed Warbler, was another tiny visitor, who just paused for a split second to give me an opportunity for these lovely compositions.
