After the amazing sighting of the Caracal, we drove towards the territory of a bold Leopard only to be stopped in our tracks by a Serval that was busy hunting her breakfast. This is one cat that didn’t like wet paws, as captured in the image below. It was a delight to watch it go about stalking potential prey.

There were many moments like these, pictures above and below, where the Serval would make postures that made incredible portraits.

The Serval did not make a kill that morning, but its many unsuccessful attempts gave us a multitude of photo opportunities that kept us enthralled all along.
