After the really exciting sighting of the Leopardess in Kabini during an evening safari, the next morning, we went looking for the Leopardess, but she was nowhere to be found. All we came up with on the safari was this handsome Peacock perched on a tree trunk at eye level.

The evening safari was better than the morning drive since we spotted a pack of Wild Dogs, locally known as the Dhole, foraging for food. In fact we caught one of them feasting on a dung beetle.

That evening, we finally spotted the Leopard on the same tree, but today she was focussed on sleeping and after waiting for a few minutes, we decided to let her sleep in peace and headed back to the lodge.
